NM 25 for Deer

Anybody here hunted unit 25 in NM for deer? Got in a hurry, and ended up putting in for that unit rather than the one I intended. But deer tags in NM are rather rare, at least for me, so I'm happy to finally have my first deer tag in seven years here. Any insights appreciated - and, I already know about camping too far south...

Sorry, can’t help you there. But i would be interested to hear how that hunt pans out and if that part of the state is worth it for muleys, or maybe just a different kind of mule . Good luck

Many sightings but haven't heard anyone getting anything. Trying this year too as it's my first hunt. Rather disappointed.

Today would have been the last day of my hunt. I had to lay it down and not go, since my elk expedition begins Friday. A dangit - my first deer tag in almost eight years living here.
