NM 51A mule deer

Hey all! I have a NM 51A mule deer tag this year, Nov 1-5. First year hunting muleys and I have an ok idea of things. I am curious if the rut here in NM is later than the mid-late November since we are further south but the elevation here is a bit high. I have found some does around but do not know if bucks will be cruising then or not. Any tips hunting muleys in that unit are appreciated other than sitting behind glass? I know that one.

Many of us are trying to reduce name dropping unit numbers. Random Google searches pull up the unit and effects future draw odds.

Suggest changing that bit of info.
