Vote is being held open at the current 46 to 50.

The count was there just a few minutes ago. It seems they are trying get the bill moving ahead to save POTUS any embarrassment.

Sounds like even if they have the votes to proceed, an amendment to strike Lee's language has the votes to pass, barring some arm twisting by POTUS.

VP is now on the Hill meeting with Lummis of WY and Scott of F

Hopefully the 10 calls I've made the last two weeks to her office make a difference.

Yeah I agree Trump will not let this go. But this is a victory for today, and I'm relieved and happy.

It is my understanding that Pages 202-211, the pages with the land sale language, will not be in the bill that goes forward. I will take Lee's tweets as confirmation of that.

The skeptic in me still waits for the final language before declaring victory.
