I said this earlier in another thread, but ask ChatGPT what it would do if it were president, and tell me you wouldn't vote for it.I fear we're well past being able to vote ourselves out of it.

It would never get past brokerage...I said this earlier in another thread, but ask ChatGPT what it would do if it were president, and tell me you wouldn't vote for it.

Looking forward to access of some Canada's finest resources.

That remains to be seen. Incredibly stupid and counterproductive move IMO, but I think they will prevail in the end.Your first amendment right doesn't grant you permission to harass people in church either, turns out.
We agree on this one. I appreciate the honest dialogue that was had, especially early in this thread, but it seems like the time it takes for everyone to retreat into their partisan corners is about 4 days. It's January and I found two ticks on my dog on Tuesday, so might as well get out and touch grass. This one has ran its course
Thought I saw a bunch of them all over a little forky earlier this month, but concluded that had to be impossible this time of year. Chit.We agree on this one. I 100% expect the anti-hunting activists in Colorado to adopt the current anti-ICE tactics, if they haven’t already. Likely around contentious commission votes in March and May on a fur ban and furbearer/beaver management. They are calling for the elimination of CPW and the commission to be replaced with an activist body from the universities with no representation from sportsmen or agriculture. They have also resorted to death threats against CPW officers and spreading conspiracy theories regarding the deadly mountain lion attack on New Years.I hope that anti-hunters don’t borrow tactics from these protesters and start exercising their free speech by using whistles on a more widespread basis. In the AI summary below, just replace “federal agents” and “ICE” with “hunters”.

Oh they aren’t done yet. Two more anti-gun bills launched this week. Expansion of red flag laws and further erosion of due process protections. Requirement that all purchase and transfer of firearm barrels through FFLs. Makes no sense, doesn’t serve public safety. Ghost guns are already illegal. Is being widely reported a ban on all NFA items including suppressors is coming next during this legislative session. Zealots in the CO Dem party know no bounds.![]()
Colorado lawmakers send Jared Polis bill that would ban manufacture, drastically limit sale of many semiautomatic guns
Senate Bill 3 would prohibit people from buying the otherwise banned weapons — most semiautomatic rifles as well as some semiautomatic pistols and shotguns — unless they get vetted by their county’s sheriff and complete up to a dozen hours of trainingcoloradosun.com
The real threat to the 2nd slowly taking it away one bill at a time
That remains to be seen. Incredibly stupid and counterproductive move IMO, but I think they will prevail in the end.
What is even more intersting and not in dispute is that news media has a right to cover such actions.
Today in the news...DOJ has arrested two media members ...who were covering protests.
I was discussing the arrest of Don Lemon at the gym today.
While he will have to spend good money on a lawyer, there is almost zero chance he gets convicted of anything.
The old saw, I'd rather be judged by twelve, than carried by six, applies. Good luck finding 12 people off the street to agree that the press can't cover a protest.
I'm not a big fan of Lemon, but that is immaterial.
Nah, Daytona is only a couple weeks away. This one has ran its course im gonna head back to my folks basement now. See yall in a month or so for the next selective outrage incident.
