New threat to 2nd A?

I have pheasant hunted the Froid area for over 35 years. It, like every small town, is fighting to stay alive. It seems to have a good amount of civic pride. Certainly they have welcomed hunters with open arms.

I have difficulty forgiving their naivety with what happened. It is EXACTLY what was promised during the campaign. It does show just how much money is being spent to round up just one individual. How this pencils out is not easy to see.

Froid, just lost one viable business and family. It is one more nail in their coffin. I doubt they will admit, they helped make it happen.
Make Froid Great Again

Why would you make an exception for him? The law, which I question how much people care about, says that he can be released on bail if he's not a danger to his community or a flight risk. The Feds said the former, his community law enforcement said the opposite.

I'm not arguing against deporting him. What I am saying, and what I think the article accurately points out, is that these are people; they are friends and community members, and it feels odd to treat him differently from other friends and community members. You can and should hold them accountable to the law.
He’s being held for the flight risk clause. I’d run if I were him out on bail.

That's not what the article said, so I guess that's on me for not diving into research more. But I wouldn't if I were him. He has a family and a business. It seems like a better opportunity to be deported and apply for a visa.

I just responded to you. He needs a million dollar loan for a Trump visa. He’ll become an outstanding guy, the very best for America!

Having almost 30 years of law enforcement (almost 20 in federal)…I am really glad I don’t work for HSI/ICE. I will keep my thoughts on the recent shooting to myself. I believe my observations would be misunderstood as me supporting their actions. However, I can say that almost universally, the law enforcement leaders I deal with on a daily basis as disgusted by their actions.

Watching people argue against the constitution has been really eye opening.

Watching people openly ignore the giant pedophile ring cover up has been extremely saddening.

Its all working. The good people in the middle are too tired to fight the passionate sheep.
Not all of us.

Deportation usually comes with a lengthy ban before one could apply for readmission. If he was deported previously it could be permanent.

Folks like to say "Just do it the right way" but there isn't one for the majority of these people.

I completely agree. Unfortunately that's not what's happening with these "law enforcement" officers they appear to me to be above the law. A criminal with a badge is far scarier then any illegal immigrants in my book.

I don't disagree with you at all but lets all try not to paint all law enforcement with the same brush. There are lots of dipshits in just about any profession.

Lets also not forget and understand that humans (as a whole) need to be governed to prevent complete and utter chaos in the streets and everyday society.
Without laws and people to enforce them, there would be so much chaos that it would make what we have seen so far in our lives look like a weekend picnic at the park. And I know that you and most everyone else understands this, I'm just making a point that we need law enforcement of all kinds. Could they do a better job? Yes. A criminal with a badge is far scarier then any illegal immigrants in my book is something I 100% agree with.

There shouldn't be ANY form of a path to citizenship for someone that has shown 0 regard for our existing laws already.
