My interactions with other voting Americans leave me absolutely not convinced that it is true.

I'm saying everything that is currently being done, literally EVERYTHING, is being done because of those GD liberals crazies. Everything from the Fed, to immigration, Foreign policy, environmental regulation, DOJ, everything, EVERYTHING is being blamed (IN CAPS!) on the GD liberals. And that line of reasoning works, it has worked, and it will continue to work. You can say it shouldn't work, but that's besides the point. IT WORKS. So, I'd postulate that the opposition would do more good to just go home and stay off social media entirely. Vote when the time comes, but stop feeding the machine.

I agree the course of action wasn't appropriate and was far from ideal. But I think the banter and rhetoric like "murder" being brazenly thrown around is only accelerant on the problem.

If you wanna peacefully protest set it up an have a ball. Having a group of agents force a man to the ground, disarm him and shoot him in the back 10 times while restrained by agents with a agent nearby clapping at the shooting is an execution.

While I agree with the majority of your post, i dont think it is impossible to both support current laws and defend this shooting. Part of 2A rights is understanding that humans are flawed and having the right to bear arms comes with risks/responsibility. If you put yourself into a tense confrontation while carrying, there is a chance that the fact you are carrying will turn out badly due to human error. The facts of the case are ugly and unfortunate, but when a law enforcement officer hears "gun, gun, gun" and a round goes off, they are likely legitimately fearing for their life.

Defending the DHS, Noem, Bovino, etc's reaction on the other end should be impossible..

Multiple experienced LEOs have viewed the videos and said it doesnt matter what preceeded it...the whole operation was not just amateur it was as bad as it gets...multiple examples of what not to do.

We can all see the gun removed well before he was shot. There are commands to warn of a gun and words to ID its removal that every LEO gets drilled on in basic training.

Even if there was a single accidental discharge...he was shot 9 or ten times. Again a cluster f'd abomination of basic training.

The only reason the world knows what is happening is because people are following ICE with phones and sharing it. It’s painfully clear that the administration’s official channels are constantly sharing easily provably false bullshit. Thank God for the people willing to risk their lives to show us the truth.

What makes you sure? The feds removed all the evidence denied the state from investigating the scene and spirited the shooter out of the state without releasing his name. They also pronounced the victim as being a domestic terrorist bent on mass slaughter.. All of which is pretty clearly not only false, but basically impossible. Why in the world would you think the facts will come out?

Looking at this objectively without injecting polititics, fortunately there were several angle of video to view on what happened from before to after the shooting. The debate on weather he was legally carrying because he committed what is typically a misdemeanor for obstructing an officer is irrelevant. He was not and never reached for his gun during the altercation and was on his knees. His gun was removed from his waistband before he was killed. He was not a deadly threat. He was recording ICE officers with his phone prior to attemting to help the lady. Has anyone ever heard of auditors who regularly record police and government activity?
It was not justified to use deadly force on Pretti. I guess we will see what unfolds, but if this were a local law enforcement agency, based on the videos I have seen, it would not bode well for the officers imvolved and there would surely be charges filed against them.
