i'm confused - are you saying that this masked man(?) holding a pistol is the same person as this unmasked man holding a phone? wearing different hats, jackets, and pants to boot?

I must’ve seen different videos of the Pretti shooting then some of you. It is illegal to carry a concealed firearm while committing a crime. Pretti was participating in criminal activity prior to being shot by impeding law enforcement, encouraging a vehicle to drive through a blocked off area, etc.

Then he proceeded to assault an officer/agent by pushing them. Punishable by 8 years in prison. Pushing a law enforcement officer and fighting with law enforcement is a huge deal. Many LEOs are shot by their own gun. You have to be on your game when in close proximity to people as a LEO.

Prior to fight with the officers/agents one of them had already tried to get him to comply with less lethal force. Pretti then began to wrestle with several officers/agents. I am not badge heavy but if someone is carrying a gun or knife they better kiss the ground when I tell them to, whether they brandish it or not. If someone starts fighting with me, they will probably get shot, even if they don’t have a weapon, especially if I’ve already used OC spray. All of these deportations could probably be being handled differently, Obama deported millions without making all this noise. It does blow my mind that people are willing to put there lives on the line for illegal aliens. Do they think Waltz and Frey actually care about them?

From the video I saw, it appeared he was shot in the back while on the ground just after being disarmed by another agent. Shooter looked to be a scared/confused agent, likely magnified by the hoards of yelling, aggressive, blue haired, rape whistle blowing crowds of peaceful protesters, throwing things and shoving people around.

What are you getting at here? There's lots of videos from different angles showing what happened including those showing the agent in gray removing the pistol from Pretti's hip seconds before the shooting started. Some video actually looked to indicate the pistol (p320) might have AD'd in the agents hand shortly after removing from Pretti and in turn triggering other agents to shoot Pretti. What I saw was too blurry to say for sure but it does appear that way. Never saw anything indicating Pretti was reaching for it.

That's not Pretti with the gun, but an ICE agent with Pretti's gun walking away after Pretti was killed. Pretti was not wearing a mask.
"According to former acting DHS undersecretary Cohen, the officers do not appear to be following the tactical steps to control and arrest Pretti. “This just seemed to be a free-for-all, and they didn't seem to have any understanding from a tactical perspective on how to gain control of that individual,” he said."

An analysis conducted by Robert Maher, a professor at Montana State University specializing in audio forensics, concluded that 10 shots were fired in less than 5 seconds.

His First and Second Amendment rights were violated in about 15 seconds...

This is a perfect example of the $*)Q!#@$ problem. We can't tell the difference between the agents and any other random guy wearing a mask and jacket and carrying a gun. That's pretty #@)(*%* up. The only way to know that the guy with the gun ISN'T the citizen who was murdered, is that the citizen WASN'T wearing a mask.

If a thorough and unbiased investigation isn’t conducted, if Noem and others within this administration don’t correct their blatant propaganda and are held accountable for it, if this is allowed to be swept aside for the next big distracting news story, then I believe this marks a real death blow to the rule of law. When Constitutional rights are so publicly violated and dismissed by those in authority without accountability, we accept the sort of tyranny that the Constitution was designed to thwart.

I’m calling on my Congressional representatives to uphold the rule of law.

It may be too late...the state sent our top cops for incident response and investigation...from our Bureau of Criminal apprehension..to the scene very quickly....ICE and federal officials did NOT allow them near the scene and refused to cooperate.
