But... Is the rule of law the MOST important thing? Elections have consequences. As has been established quite clearly in thread after thread, this is what the majority of Americans want. This is #winning. Are "we", those who didn't vote for this, doing more harm by fighting against it? I might offer a perspective that fighting it provides the villain necessary to continue these operations. We can't pretend this is the 60s, we're in an entirely different reality.
I find that Trump's remarkable 180 in rhetoric on Walz and his refusal to comment on the Agent's actions speak volumes for how badly things are looking for the administration considering the usual course of action and comments given to date. It was hard to imagine how much worse things could look, tbh. But the king of "hold my beer" did it again. Certainly won't be the last.
You and I both know that it's not true that this is what the majority of Americans want.
Throwing in the towel in a fit of spite and "told you so" ain't the adult answer IMO.
