Well, I did it. Sold my Winchester and bought a Tikka T3x lite. It's a 7mm-08 and looks pretty good in that Bell and Carlson stock, I think. That's a Leupold VX 3, 2.5-8x33 on top, with Talley mounts. I'm hoping to get it to the range this week to start playing with loads and break in the barrel (I'm not sure I believe in barrel break-ins, but it seems safer to just do it...). I'll give an accuracy update if it does anything of note.

Outstanding. My Tikka T3x SS is in the same B&C stock with a leuopold scope as well. It's shooting the 131 grain (actually 134 grain) hammers. My son got his first pronghorn buck with it this fall at 405 yds. Have fun!
