Have to admit I was tempted to stray...but the hankering subsided. The stubby snout craze ended the withdrawals and I was cured....for now anyway.

I don't have any problem shooting rifles with a stock of a more classic design. No need to change. mtmuley

Owned a Thompson Pro Hunter with a thumbhole...thought it'd be the end all do all for shooting ergonomics...it wasn't. Nothing feels as good as the svelte wristed McEdge...not even the McSporter with the swell.
