Bought my first crossbow in 1997. It was a Ten Point model but back then they had no bells and whistles. To pull the bow back my Grandpa rigged a harness that acted as my left hand. Only problem was I used by back to @#)(# the bow. I finally had enough of straining my back so I picked up this guy last weekend. This Ten Point model is new for 2011 and has all the bells & whistles…most notably the acu-draw crank so that I can give my back a rest. I’ve hunted a bit over the years with my old bow and shot a few deer but now I really hope to get more into archery hunting. I’ve got lots of points out west and I can use this bow in a few states during archery seasons with the permits I’ve acquired. I can’t wait to chase whitetails here at home this fall. :D

Nice. Aren't you planning a WY pronghorn trip? Might be a fun way to test it out.

Way cool, the wife wants to get in to crossbow hunting but in nevada and cali you have to use it during rifle. Which kinda defeats the purpose.
