I see a Hunttalker who drew the early Sheldon antelope tag. Wonder if he wants my help? I will pay my own expenses, and if he doesn't want to be a TV star, I will leave the camera guys at home.

I see the NVLongbow family will have no shortage of venison in the freezer this year.

So let get this straight Jereep. You drew your first choice AZ rifle elk this year and the best pronghorn tag in NV. How does your wonderful wife feel about taxidermy as a style of sophisticated home decor?

Thinking a week chasing pronghorn on the Sheldon, followed by a week chasing velvet bucks in Unit 65 would do my body good.

Got any more apps that you will be pulling tags on this year, or are you leaving some for the rest of us?

I have used my luck allotment for probably a decade.



It will do you some good to teach a novice antelope hunter how to do it!

I will do the Hunt Talkers a favor and not apply for anymore tags for a while!

Yup. Ol' Bessy has promised me she can get me within 20 yards. Question will be, whether she was referring to does and fawns, or a lunker buck.

I suspect August in NV will be a little warmer than the last mule deer I arrowed - ND in December.

Now if CO would only have been as cooperative. Better not complain, though.

Got it! My son's have youth mule deer tags near there. Beautiful country with a bunch of game.

I drew an area 7 archery mule deer tag that takes place in the middle of the rut and for bonus, cow tag.

The lineup for me this fall will be archery elk in CO and elk/deer in MT...so I can't complain too much for not drawing NV.
