Nephew in Iraq

We heard from my Nephew in Iraq the 11 th of November. He has just recently arrived at Camp Liberty, I have no idea where this is at in Iraq. He stated in his E-mail that He had stopped 2 "bad guys" from detonating a roadside bomb. He saw them laying in a ditch waiting for some soldiers to come by before they detonated it. He coordinated the "neutralization" of the two insurgents with 2 Kiowa Attack Helicopters. Yeah, and I thought my 300 Win Mag kicked! He is really a great Kid, Eagle Scout, the whole nine yards, all American Kid! He was promoted to Staff Sargent, He was pumped that gives him more money to spend on his new truck when he returns home! It amazes me how we can see the man that they are asked to become in such a short time and then in the next breath they talk of buying a "Bad As* Truck" when they get home. Too all of you that may have friends or family members serving our country in Iraq. I am currently working in the Middle East in the state of Qatar which is about 700miles (as the crow flies) from Baghdad.
