Nebraska Public Land Question

Does anyone know if you cant archery hunt or waterfowl hunt DNR land or MUD land in Nebraska? They show as public land on OnX, but every time I call, no one seems to know.

If it's open to public hunting it should be in the atlas.

Prairie hunter is correct if it's in the atlas it's open. Most of the state of NE land, BLM land and school land that shows up on OnX is state owned land but is leased out, so you can't hunt on it unless you have the leasers permission. I had to call several CO's out there before I was informed about how that land is handled.
