Nascar favorite track

Now that I have you attention! ;) Last call for our Fantasy NASCAR league before racing starts. Hit me up if you want to join.

Talladega should be a great time. I haven't been there. I like it and Daytona the most.

Bristol. Used to go to a lot of short track races when I lived in NC. North Wilkeboro, Rockingham, Martinsville. Those little towns lived off of those races. Was sad to see NASCAR go almost completely corporate - favoring the urban super speedways.
Rockingham and North Wilkesboro have both started having races again. That was nice to see.

Been to a bunch. Talledega is a hoot but I like Daytona better. If there is any way to do a ride along, do it…it will give you a great appreciation for what those guys are doing even though you are going 40mph slower without 30 other cars inches away…

In addition to Daytona and Talledega I’ve been to Michigan, Chicago (land and street course), Iowa, Indy, Homestead, Texas, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Watkins Glen, Darlington and Bristol.

By far, my favorite is Bristol. There is action everywhere and all the time. It is fantastic.

Haven't been to a race yet, but I have always wanted to go to Bristol. Talladega and Daytona are like a 200mph parking lot, the wreck WILL happen.

I did Richard Petty Driving Experience at Charlotte Motor Speedway for my 40th bday. It’s crazy how your mind/body just won’t let you push that thing 100+ mph into those banked corners. It feels like you’re just going to go straight up and over the turn.

The worst part about Bristol is the lodging. VERY few hotels nearby. Those that are close are very pricey race weekend. Daughter went last year and did the Airbnb thing. Can't remember what it cost but they had the whole house instead of just a room.

Yep, far better to ride along with a pro driving, we are definitely as good as we think we are. Daytona is an awesome ride a long. Have done Michigan and also did Chicago in a 2seat Indy car. Really want to do one and go to Martinsville and Dover.

That’s what tents are for.
