I just read online that I got my wish. My name was drawed for the youth waterfowl hunt for October 19th at Ottawa NWR. This will be the third year in a row that we got to go.

Moosie I need to borrow your decoys.

The date is the opener so if I only take 1 youth I can shoot but if I take 2 I just call. Let's see how the boys behave until the date of the hunt and see if I take a gun

How about the one from last year when I finally shot a duck. I started shaking so bad I had to sit down and put my shotgun in the corner of the blind? And how estatic I was that I kept yelling " I got the Mother Fugger"

and how my boy had to tell me to shutup so more ducks might be coming in? and how he tried to sneak up on one that had landed 100 yards away and how I spooked it away when I shot at a goose thereby messing him up?
