Mine is 21 and one small dent, runs great.
I understand Ford haters. They do not know how to maintain a vehicle.

I have had a pile of vehicles since the 90’s, and boy have they all come far. I am crazy about maintenance, and the only problem I had with a Ford was an Explorer with a thermostat/sensor issue. It was recalled and fixed.

I did have a Ford Tempo as an early college commuter that dropped its shift linkage on the highway outside of Anaconda… that was interesting. I paid $250 for that old worn out pile of crap…

My experience today is if you buy a vehicle with a solid reputation and maintain it methodically you’re set.

I never had a problem with our Explorer because I knew it’s possible issue and put in an effort to prevent it. They were known for tranny issues. I simply did the recommended flush and went to some high-end synthetic fluid.
