Had my rat terrier in for surgery today.

She is a doll at 13 years.

A minor tumor and a couple of fat tumors.

Brother gave me shit about spending money on a 13 year old dog.
I responded that she was the dog. And, he understood.

I have 4 of the terrier dogs.

Sign of old age. Always had large dogs in youth,

She is fine and in my arms!

I had a Malamute that was diagnosed with diabetes when he was almost 10. We were probably into him over $12k in emergency vet bills, medications, rehab etc., but the year and a half more we got with him was well worth it.
