So, we just got back from sheep hunting yesterday. [Thread in the sheep forum] my daughter filled her antelope tag on September 8. [Thread there as well]
My daughter got done with her school work about 1145. We left town at 1230, arrived in our hunting area about an hour later. Saw a total of four bucks. We were set up on a nice buck but she could not get a clear shot.
We found a spike next to the road, and my daughter decided to punch her tag. She has things coming up that she wants to do. 14 year old girls lol.
Kind of sad hunting for hooved critters is done for the year, but come November, it's balls to the wall lion hunting.
One shot, 90 yards, dead deer.
