My 2018 bow season

Im a traveling bowhunter. after 45 years of hunting I no longer find challenge, satisfaction, excitement or reward in killing with a firearm . I own a bowhunting products company so I design and make and test bowhunting products for my company and other companies that hire me to bring their ideas to life. This allows me to travel about with bow in hand to do live animal product testing. These are just some of my 2018 bow kills.

Jan. 2018 was Super cold and snowy Russian boar.

Feb 2018 found me with a bow in my hand at 8000 feet up on Moana loa on the Big Island of Hawaii going after wild/feral/free range Vancouver bull and Polynesian hogs.

March I was doing Spot and Stalk Water buff and Eurasian boar.

In May I stayed close to home to defend my back yard from Wisconsin Grizz.

Then it was red Stag.

Then it was back in WI and taking a few doe off my lease.

In Oct. I headed east for whitetail.

The most well traveled knife around (and not just traveling with me.) This is a traveling knife that has been all over the globe with many hunters.

The woodsman is sharpened and ready to return to service.

Then back to WI and my lease for more does.

Then I punched my WI bow tag with a buck I took off my land.

Both of the Bucks with mounts I did myself.

The total live weight of all the critters I took last year was 4,430 lbs. Thus far this year Im at around 3,300 pounds of bow killed game.
