My 1911 Finally Arrived!

We'll I've waited only 6 months for this beauty. It's usually 12-13 months and she came this week. I upgraded to the 1.5" guarantee at 50 yards with some other add ons. That means it's all on me. Not a lot of guys are into these, but I've really come to appreciate them and the craftsmanship at Les Baer. I was a little late for Gun Porn Wednesday.

Weapon and work of art at the same time. Have you got a chance to shoot it yet? I've got a Les Baer barrel on a 6.5 Grendel and that rifle is very accurate, especially for a semi-auto.

Thanks everyone. With the move to Wyoming coming up in the next two weeks or so, I haven't had time to shoot it. I can't wait to start breaking her in. It takes roughly 500 rounds before she's running totally smoothly from the tightness of the hand fitting. Either way, I'll enjoy every round through this bad boy.

I shoot a G34 in Action Pistol but, had a chance to run with my friend's Les Baer.

I hate to admit it but, it's a nicer gun than my Glock, even with all my upgrades.
