Musselshell River Mule Deer

Hello all,

I have been scouting via Montana Cadastral and Google earth and was curious about the mule deer hunting along the Musselshell on the BLM grounds. I live on the western side of the state so it is quite hard to head out for a scouting trip so I thought I would ask on here, as I am sure there are a few members that live by or have hunted the area. It would be my girlfriend and I going out. I am not looking for a bruiser buck but a decent 3 point or a 4x4 main frame for her first deer. If anybody has photos of bucks taken out of there that would be great. Any help would be appreciated. DM me if you would like.

Deer numbers definitely aren't what they used to be in that area. Make sure to read the regulations well if you will be on the CMR as there are some special restrictions for mule deer.
