I gave my buddy first dibs on this buck and he passed on him. I said to him as we looked down on him at 200 yds from a cross brace on a fence corner. “He’s got at least 8 points on the one side”, as I watched through the spotter.

He goes , “yeah, but he’s not that tall !”

I said , move over and shot him in less than 3 seconds.

198 4/8 , unbroken brow would have put him over 200.

The Farmer slapped him when he said he passed on him ….. literally slapped him
