I have been pretty disappointed with the numbers and size of the pronghorn I have been seeing in the area I usually hunt. That being said, I saw one this morning that I would like to pass an arrow through. I saw him ahead on the road I was traveling and grabbed the camera to get a shot of him between the fences that were on both sides of the road. Bad news, he didn't give me the shot. Good news, I got to see a nice buck make a clean jump over the top wire.

Keeper?

Light up high, but pretty horns.

He reminded me a little of IB's Capt. Hook buck from a couple years ago.

Now I just need to have the State send me my 900 permit....and have him stay on public land.

do it...... he is cool. Bad winter up there this year after all?

Never shot a lope before, all these pics kind of get me fired up to give it a whirl, but not this year. I would have to stow-away in one of you guys' trucks to probably have a clue as to where to start looking.

That is a very cool looking buck, thin up top or not, he'd get my arrow for sure. Thanks for sharing miller.

Wow - That lope is darn - purdy!

As always, nice pics MtMiller!
