[kiwi hunter]

so spend three weeks down in the south island,lots of bad weather and lots of hunters running around
the growth is only just starting to happen in the high country
one place i climbed up onto a high terrace to give me a better view and spotted a hunter at 1km away stalking a dozen young bulls under some bluffs,if i had any brains i would have videoed the hunt
got lucky to get to 90 mtrs on these bulls but vast majority are still up in the high country waiting for a green tinge indicating new growth

Great photos! I also didn’t see any big bulls on my recent trip. But always good to be out in the hills.
