They used to come into Whitefish, MT in the winter too. They'd walk around town all winter and I remember the elementry school keeping us kids inside when moose were on the playground.

Haven't seen them in Whitefish for quite a few years now and don't know why.

GREAT PICTURE! I was just in southwest Texas on a coues deer hunt. I walked out of the best western the day before we left for camp and there was a 30 inch mule deer standing beside my truck. Camera was in the truck.
