Montana bull...all of 1.5 hours.

My families old hunting area that we've hunted since the 1950's. I hunted it for the first time in 1979.

Did wreck a good day of whitetail hunting.

If somebody that’s killed 92 elk can come in and boast that it took all of 1.5 hours and then have the AUDACITY to gripe about the length of MY OPPORTUNITY I’m downright offended. Nope, all public land and its very low density elk area...and always has been.

Whatever grandpa.. there ain’t many elk in there, so we go find what’s left and blast em! but the hunting sucks and the seasons too long! Maybe they should cut it to just a few hours per tag huh buzz?

Ain’t many left from you and yours… how many else in your family got a tally like your own? Wife got 76? save some for the fish and quit complaining about montanas resources

I have probably commented 10-12 of the most heartfelt, sincerest congratulations to random members of the forum in the last week or two.
Of whom I interact with very little, if at all… their grit and tenacity to work hard at something and not bitch and complain is a story I’ll read over and again. Those stories i love so much and i joined this forum for them.

Seeing this and a story like yours above, combined with your crappy attitude toward the opportunity you obviously take advantage of to kill more elk than 2 families lifetimes. Makes me sick.

It ain’t that hard to kill an elk with a 6month season. Sometimes it damn near takes me the whole 6 months but it’s doable…
