I had been researching Backcountry Hunters and Anglers to see if they were an ethical hunting organization that I could support. After reading their journal online and some of their posts, seeing their activism, I signed up. Seeing this post this evening, made me even more glad that I did.

BHA is a kickass organization for anyone who wants to have a substantive discussion about hunting and habitat, and enjoys good bourbon.

I am not sure the outcry about bison is not inflated as the Blackfeet has a huge herd of Buffaloe on the rez. and the white man is falling all over themselves to lease grass there, go figure
