Montana B tag bonus points question

When I applied for a Montana B tag it asked me if I wanted a bonus point. My question is are bonus points for B tags separate from the regular limited entry tags or A tags? I really would rather not lose my bonus points drawing a B tag.

I think did a good job scouting the FWP website and searching here but I didn’t see the answer anywhere.

Yes, they are separate. Your Bonus Points for your Deer and Elk Permits will not be effected by using B tag bonus points.
