Monsooon season started early this year but wow

and the fishing was fantasic.. the winds were blowing 30 mph with gust up to 50.. back in the canyon where olefish and I fished the waves were 3-4 feet high and the wind was more like 50mph.

but i caught lots of fish just couldnt get them in the boat I was out bymyself and didnt have the kids to net the fish cause the weather was bad.. I lost 6 over 4 lbs and caught about 12 in the 2lbs range... I love this time of year..
not going fishing till friday waves tore up the boat pretty bad shook everything loose. I lost one fishing pole overboard and reel 400 bucks in 200 feet of water. I was able to keep the other 6 from flying out though.. was it worth it heck ya I was fishing

Hows that $400 fish reef!!

We are getting some as of lately. If it keeps up our lakes will be full again.

Delw you wouldn't know what to do around here. Around here 20ft is a hole and a guarded secret.

Glad to hear about the good time Delw.

$400 reel overboard. WOW would never happen to me. Glad I am a cheapie. I feel sick when a $15 rod gets broken.
