I don't have any input on the HG's but I purchased some Minox 10x42 BL's for hunting this year and they worked out nicely. They are/were a lot better than the low end Brunton's I was using previously. My new 10x42 BL's are super light with crisp otics.

They'll do you well. Minox is turning out some great optics. Are they coming from NYC?
