Seems like us bird hunters are always longing to see the next cover. I dream of traipsing the mountains for the dusky grouse you all have.

Oh man the colors are popping there now....I was in the UP a few weeks ago and it was turning already....I see it's even better now.

deadzone for me, it was nice to get the PP tired though.
One thing that really surprised me was that neither the dog nor I pulled any deer/wood ticks off

Agreed. No ticks which was wonderful.

We'll see how it is closer to the big lake though.
