Well its about time I get around to posting some more hunting Pics. I have been going to Mexico for 12-13 years now. I first started going to hunt for myself then somehow I got into outfitting some hunts and so here we are. This year we went down on two differnt trips one right after Christmas and one at the end of Jan.On the first trip I was able to hunt with a long time friend and his dad. They have been wanting to come down to my ranch for years. The price was a little to high for them to do a fully guided hunt so we decided to do a self guided hunt for them. Here is the buck my friends dad took the very first day. A really nice 4x4 that scoed right at 100". The ranch owner and his brother-in-law were able to watch us take this buck. It was a first for them to see how we Americans hunt them.

The very next day we had some weather move in and it made it tuff to hunt. I dont know if I have ever been that cold on a hunt in Mexico. We got a pretty good dusting of snow.

It took a couple of day for the deer to get back in their routines. But when they did it was awesome. On one day we saw 32 bucks. I was able to help my buddy take his first coues with a rifle. This buck scored 94 inches with almost 11 broken off.

On this second trip a uncle and cousin would be hunting with me. The only thing was they had only two days to hunt. The first day they went out on their own to try and find some bucks while my partner and I started setting some traps for a trap line and glass a little for ourselves. On the second day I hunted with my uncle while my partner took my cousin out. We were in to bucks right at light. We decide to try and atleast take a mid 90s buck.
Here is the buck that I was able to help my uncle take. You can also check my blog out for more pic's and stories .http://www.highdesertoutfitters.blogspot.com/

That same morning my my partner was able to help my cousin take a buck also. We didnt get pictures of that buck With them being done I had the rest of the week to try and take a buck for myself and my guiding partner. We have spent 5 years on this ranch and have help clients take some really great bucks. The biggest being a 128" giant. we have taken several in the teens and a bunch from 100" to 110". So were were both looking for a smoker of a buck. But on this trip it just wasnt going to happen. The rut was pretty much over so we decide to take the best we could find. I took this really wide buck

My partner Greg took this really cool cheater buck. Both bucks scored right at 100" not what we really wanted after seeing so many great bucks in years past. But theres always next year,

Super bucks!! That looks like some beautiful country to be hunting them in. Congrats to all!

Those are some nice Coues deer. Where in Mexico do you guide? That is some beautiful area and sounds like like a great area to hunt as well.

We guide in Sonora. Were about a 100 miles across the border. Cross at Nogales. If you like to hunt coues and have never been to Mexico your missing out.

I have always wanted to hunt coues deer with a bow. Maybe it's about time I take it serious. Great deer and cool country.

This is the perfect bow hunt. Lots of bucks. Spot and stalk or you could sit water or trails. We hunt during the rut so you have a great opporunity.

Nice looking bucks. Looks like fun country to hunt. What's the typical weather during the rut down there?
