Anybody put a Mcarbo trigger spring on a Winchester 70? If so how did you like it? Since you remove the two nuts it seems like there is no adjustment.

A friend just did one on his M70 7mmMag and likes it. I've done it on several Howa and Browning with success. It's no replacement trigger but does help. Don't go too light with spring.

Works great, put it on a Model 70 in .280 Remington and hunted with it for a few years. No issues.

Did one this past summer. Agree with MThuntr, no replacement trigger but did make a noticeable difference. I did no other adjustments besides the spring swap.

I recently installed one in my Model 70 Featherweight, it made a noticeable difference, just the spring change. Dropped the trigger pull weight by almost 2 pounds, now at 2.5 pounds. Have also done my 2 Browning X Bolts, and my Remington 750. All good!
