Mayo Vs Miracle Whip

The great Grilled Cheese debate got be thinking about one of mankind's greatest debates: Mayo Vs Miracle Whip.

Mayo is obviously King, but I know some of you troglodytes like Miracle Whip, now is the time to make yourself known to us sophisticated folks.

People who eat neither, you're Okay though, sort of.

My entire life growing up I hated mayonnaise or thought I did. All my mom bought was miracle whip I had no idea there was anything other than that slop.

For a good portion of my childhood I thought I hated mayo in general, turns out it was just the fact that up until then I had only been exposed to the white abomination of Miracle Whip.

I was raised on both, usually what was on sale when a white sandwich additive was on the shopping list.

When I started buying my own I would buy Miracle Whooip ... see what I did there ... though I would also occasionally hit the Helman's. Finding mayo to be bland I predominately used the Miracle. Recently I started hearing of Dukes so I bought some to compare. I found the Dukes to be a tastier version of mayo but still not enough flavor and zing.

So I guess I'm a "Trog" and I would never think less of anyone who prefers the flatter flavored Mayo.

This is more of a question of flavor vs no flavor.

If you like some flavor go MW, if you like bland go mayo.
Flavor go heinz 57, bland go ketchup.

Miracle Whip is its own thing and should never be confused with mayonnaise. Nor should it ever be used on a good sandwich unless you want to ruin it!

Yea I don't know how Miracle Whip is still a thing. My mom always bought it but it is absolutely atrocious. Real Mayo for the win.

So lemme see if I got this right. Mayo is like a Yugo. Then you take the Yugo, drop in a Hemi and most of yas would still prefer drivin' the Yugo.
