Anyone running the big Maven spotter with the flourite glass or any comparisons? Just curious how it stacks up to Swarovski or Kowa glass

I don't have any comparisons to Kowa or Swarovski glass but I just got an S1.S on sale and have been really impressed with it. No complaints so far on my end.

Did you get the wide angle or the higher power?

I got the 25-50x80, the wide. I have the first version, to be clear - the S.1. I could be wrong but I believe the original S.1 was only offered in that configuration, and then the S1.2 has the option for 30-65 + interchangable eyepieces.

Ok. I’m just learning about them. Thanks for the info!

I have an S1.2S and think very highly of it. Reminds me of my Kowa 774 that I sold a few years ago. Glass is clear and bright, easy to digiscope through and well made. Count me in as a fan.

I also have their smaller S3 55mm scope with Flourite glass. It is good too, but definitely a lot more limited in its use category. I would rather use 15x binos than spending lots of time behind a small spotter. But if used as a quick way to verify size or antler points, it works really well.
