Reviving this thread. I recently acquired a pair of 15x56 Vortex Vultures. I also have a pair of 12x50 Vortex Vipers. I am considering getting a pair of Maven 15x56 or 18x56 c4 binoculars. The vultures do not seem as clear or as bright to me as my vipers. I love the extra zoom, but clarity and brightness mean more to me than zoom. It seems to me I can see more with my vipers. Has anyone compared the c4 to the vultures? I would like to have a pair of 18x56 Kaibab's, but they don't seem to be readily available at a used price range.
