If Hank could talk, he'd tell you to throw me out in the weeds and leave me there. This is the first time I got him out shooting feathers this fall. I lived in Idaho for a few years and killed 500 (not a typo!!
) upland birds over him his first 2 years. Chukars, roosters, sharpies, huns, valley quail, sage hens, blues, ruffies and a few doves. I moved him to Wyoming 5 years ago and haven't killed 200 birds over him since (including waterfowl). I'm a pathetic owner. I keep threatening to find someone who will hunt him as much as he deserves, but he'll turn 7 in 3 weeks..................
Anyway, finally got to jumpshoot a few greenheads in Wyo over New Years. Shot a limit 2 days in a row off some of the little warm water drainages by my in-laws. Tried to get my girls out a couple mornings but they wanted to sleep in and hang out with their cousins. I won't complain as Hank and I finally had some male bonding with the 5 ladies in our life in the house!
