No surprise that I didn't draw. Just usually throw my name in the hat because it's cheap with no expectations of actually drawing.
I'm not sure how many points I have, close to 20 by now probably. The way it's set up so that you can buy as many chances as you want I really don't see points are doing much good. Plus 10% non-resident cap it's almost impossible to draw.
Not complaining though, as I said I have no real expectations of ever drawing.

I have max nonresident points and of course also failed to draw. Yes, the point peddling policy is a disgrace. There’s a reason the state won’t publish the true draw stats given all the watering down they set up. Also, I believe NR’s only get 8% not 10 since the outfitter welfare bill passed.

They took my money too this year without giving me a tag. BOO!

I talked with a staff person at a show one year and he seemed put off a bit when I suggested you could just buy a tag by buying a pile of chances. Has anyone here ever done a FOIA request for the lottery stats?

Good buddy of mine drew an October bull tag in a really good unit. The wife and I failed once again. You would have to buy a ridiculous amount of chances to truly sway the odds in your favor with the number of chances in the pot. We did the math yesterday on the thousand he threw at it. He was still crazy lucky.

No dice here. Congrats to anyone who drew.
I’ve got about 40 more years before I get my tag.

Hunting Fool at one time published that information. I'm not sure they still do. Almost a decade ago I want to say over 300,000 apps were in the NR pot.
If you do the math on 2025 NR applications you are near that figure assuming most applicants buy one 10 pack for $55.
