Louisiana bird hunt

Spent a few days before Christmas following dogs around the Kisatchie national forest. Pup bumped a small covey of quail. No woodcock found. Temps were warm. I’d do it again.

We were exceptionally warm in the panhandle of Texas this year too, but the quail have seem to rebound very good.
