good video, there was critters every where, it was interesting to see how those elk acted when a bear was so close to them, they were pretty chill around her from the video you showed. im good with no bear on the ground yet as this means i get to watch more semi live hunting :hump:

So as someone who knows next to nothing about bear hunting, why didn't you go after the bear(s) you found away from the elk? Just being patient or were there access issues?

in the video randy mentioned it was because of the distance to the bears and that the bears were constantly on the move and they needed a bear that was gonna sit and feed in one place so they could put a stalk on it other wise the bear would be gone by the time they got into shooting range. was how i understood it

Randy I am loving this. I have a look on the smart TV each morning for the next episode whilst I have breakfast and it is a great lift to my spirits for the day.

I much prefer this simple type of film. No music, simple time lapses and actual sounds as if your there.

Boots in the creek, moss on a log, epic music and a jib slider follow through between your buddies in their matching camo as they walk through the timber has lost its flare.

Day 8 - I'm killing this bear some day. He might put the slip on me this season, but I will hunt him every single day in 2018. His days are numbered. He is probably the biggest and bear I've seen in my years of hunting black bears Montana.

Its strange, i have no inclination to hunt a bear, but i can't explain why i am following this so intently, i hope you succeed in this hunt, its addictive viewing, it takes my mind of the events happening in the UK, even for just a moment, good luck Randy.
