After catching my first striper tonight, I got to thinking about all the critters I've encountered in my hunting and fishing adventures. What have you "landed" and what's on your wish list?

mdunc-I didnt see any golden trout on your list. I could point you in the right direction for those if you want.
 
That bullet list would get really long for me, but not so long for the hook list. I did get to go on one deep sea fishing trip and that was really amazing. I was totally amazed when we were "trolling" at a fast enough clip that we could have been pulling a water skier, and even more amazed when we actually caught something going that speed!

Current #1 wish list:
Mountain Goat.

There are a few other items on there, but much less of a priority.
Oryx, Aoudad, Yukon Moose, of course a Bighorn Sheep if I ever drew a tag.

we have a few lakes with tiger trout in them down here in SE wyoming the main one being High Savory south of Rawlins it seems like every few weeks during the summer someone is pulling a new state rrecord out of there....

Bambi, how was the sandhill crane? I've heard they're pretty tasty.

Similar to bald eagle...

tasted like a game bird, kind of tough, kind of gamey. They all kind of taste the same to me, excpet for sage hen... those things are nasty.
 
I caught a couple tiger trout at the Ruby Marshes in Nevada several years ago. I have a picture at my parents house somewhere, I'll see if I can round one up and scan it. They weren't huge....15-20 inches. Very beautiful fish.
