Lever Monday...post em up

You have pointed bullets in the stock carrier? Do you do one in the tube and one in the chamber or what?
They are Hornady’s 160 FTX bullets. They are an interlock bullet, and have a soft tip that is designed for leveraction rifles with tubular magazines.
They call it their “flex tip technology “.
It has a .331 G1 BC and my handloads with the Leverevolution powder are averaging 2360 fps MV. They shoot very accurately, and make my rifle a 200 yard gun.

It should be a two hundred yard gun with cast lead bullets.

Now lets get back to the rifle. I assume thats a Winchester and is 30-06 caliber? From the picture I could not tell if they were hard plastic tips or FTX's. I do shoot some of those in 35 Rem and 30-30. My 30-30 is also a 200 yard gun but not near as pretty as the ones Shrapnel posts.

If you mean the @Wolfshead rifle, it cannot be a .30-06. .30-30 or .32 spcl are highly likely.
