New product for 2018 is the Leupold VX-Freedom. I doubt you will find a better value, the intersection of price/quality, in the rifle scope market. And yes, made in Oregon.

Other than some new coatings and bit of redesign, it seems like these are the old VX2?

I'm very interested. Need some new scopes for the 22-250 & .308.

Hopefully the power adjustment ring is easier to turn than those on a vx2

I was wondering when they were going to make something new in this price range.

SO these are the new VX-II(2)? Just looked at the website and the VX-II(2) is no longer listed.

Guess it's just rolling out, the link Fin posted isn't working, and no mention of this scope on the Leupold site.

Where does this fit with the new American Marksman?

Ugh, just when I was used to Rifleman, VX1, 2, 3, 5, 6 they go and throw a wrench into everything haha

It looks like these fall somewhere between the VX1 and VX2 (based on pricing and specs). I didn't see if they are compatible with CDS or other external turret system, however.
