Has anyone ever sent a scope to Leupold to have the reticle changed? I have been told I can send my VX2 in and have the standard Duplex to the heavy Duplex?

Yes. Had my straight 6x switched from heavy duplex to standard. For what it's worth, after using for a few years - did not like the heavy at all. Swift service from Leupold, although it was probably ten years ago.

Leupold responded today. $59 plus my shipping to change my standard duplex to heavy duplex with a 4 week turn around.

Decided to keep my scope the way it is and went out and bought a new VX2 3-9x50 with the heavy duplex.If I decide I don't like it after awhile,I can always sell it. Leupold scopes hold good resale value.
