Wow, My son had those things strung out all over the house when he was young.Nice glamping setups men.
JK,those led light strings are great for tents. Years ago when my daughter was young she plugged an led light in then when she got up in the morning she didn't unplug and her comforter laid on top of them. We were out for a while and came back to a horrible burnt plastic smell. So bad I grabbed my respirator. Lucky the house didn't burn to the ground.

I have this same set. Found them in the middle of the highway. I thought it was a fly reel case when I stopped. We used them in the camper and they seemed to work well.I bought these a couple years ago and they’ve been great. Provide enough light for a wall tent or canopy. Get a couple nights out of one charge, and can recharge in your truck when you’re out for the day. And they wrap up inside the thingy shown for clean and easy transport.

What light? mtmuleyView attachment 410365. Pic from our Arizona/New Mexico trip. We’d eat on our cots and chat each evening in light.
I thought the same thing so I looked at my purchase history. I paid $55 in 6/23. So yeah almost doubled.I also use the luci string lights. They’re great, but man they look like they’ve jumped in cost 2x since I last bought them. There’s gotta be a different option like that. For more light, I also added the Duracell rechargeable lantern from Costco for extra light. It’s a solid setup.
