Leaving deer where they lay

I dont agree with what was described but that would be 100% legal in NC as long as they tagged the doe. There are no wanton waste or mandatory recovery laws for big game here.

I would never abandon an animal in the woods but I'll absolutely let a doe sit until I'm ready to leave in case she was hot.

No, I think he lumped westerners in there as well.. he’s got all 4 directions from him covered! Lol

Well, maybe he exempted the Canadians..
Eh Canadians are exempted eh all they do is type and complain about there leader (no offense Canadians) but they seem cool eh

You sure about that?
Pretty bold statement.

So u think only western hunters have morals. Interesting.
Very bold statement half the Western hunters go buy a 7mm prc 900 bucks of sitka and go pop 700 yard shots at random things and the other half actually know what there doing

Well I'm just saying it would be a bit more difficult as for they have more pull then your average joe
Not really. If they posted on You Tube they are providing evidence. There have been a couple people such as Jennings convicted recently.

I have shot whitetail does and had them drop and then waited with the anticipation of killing another deer before retrieving, not necessarily hoping they’ll come to her carcass, just not immediately blowing the area up with retrieval/gutting/etc. During the rut bucks will come in and sniff a dead doe if she was in heat, I’ve seen that many times. I certainly wouldn’t do it as a way to kill bucks, and I damn sure wouldn’t leave one lay more than an hour or so and let the meat go to waste.

Basically all of the Midwest and all of the South and all of the Western states people think that the animals are shooting targets and all of the eastern States (PA up to Maine) are just a bunch of road Hunters from what I've seen
Come find out how much road hunting I do

Thats interesting I didn't know NC was like that

Me either I don't wanna abandon anything

Obviously illegal. Most states have dedicated officers for looking for and investigating social media game violations.

But I just want to say how ignorant this guy is and even more ignorant are the viewers if they actually think this would work. During the fall there is probably 1 or 2 new deer killed by cars on my route to work every night, most are does. If this tactic actually worked like this “professional” claims there should be monster bucks just standing in the road ditch dry humping the air near every roadkill.
I kinda thought that to I never see bucks along highways always just does and fawns so it does make me wonder how well it would work

The Missouri social media team is lacking a bit I think

You need to get out and "see" more. A blanket statement like that will piss off a lot of people.

That feels like his intention and it's definitely working.

I think you've watched too much "Northwoods Law" @TrapperJ
I watch everything that has the word Hunting in it which is like half of YouTube and I gotta say there's some wild stuff on there but I also watch a lot of YouTubers in main and it's wild there was even a guy shooting from the road

I was going to post something similar. In WI, this would be 100% legal provided that upon verifying the kill, you properly fill out your tag for the animal and then within 24 hours registering online the deer kill. You wouldn't even have to walk up to it or touch it.

I have been around hunters, camps, etc a very long time and have never heard anything close to what the OP wrote. It must be the thought of a nut case.

Contrary to popular belief “Milf Hunter” isn’t actually a hunting show.
