Thursday I'll be flying to Fargo to meet my bro. We'll tip a few, catch up with family then head for Kenora, Ontario Saturday morning for a week long houseboat fishin trip. How many different ways can you prepare walleye in 6 days......? We'll target eyes, smallmouth and possibly a muskie as well. Photos and a report early the week of 6/30.

Go get 'em Wally. I am jealous. Good luck. I am waiting for the pictures.

I was born in Baudette and grew up (though wife would argue that I have not yet grown up) about sixty miles south of "Lake A Da Buuush," as my Swedish grandfather called it. Spent a lot of days fishing LOW and the many other lakes in the Kenora, Dryden, Fort Frances and northern MN area.

Which is why I still have the walleye bug, in spite of living in the troutville USA.

Eat all you can, while you are there.

Not Lake A Da Buuuush, but the MT version will have to do for me. Released to live another day.

Looks like I will be chasing them again tomorrow. But, still not Lake of the Woods. Lucky Wally Dog!
