Ken Burns’ Hemingway Documentary

'Ol Otto Matic wasn't that far off...
He was way off. He didn't, or couldn't, appreciate some of the greatest writing ever to be produced, and his biggest complaint was being a socialist sympathizer. Both are baseless, idiotic comments. It is far more appropriate to point out how abusive he was; how he let addiction, in many forms, consume him, or just how damn egotistical he was. Reminded me a bit of the orange emperor, only Hemingway did have reasons to have a big ego, he was quite great at many things.

You do realize you're saying he was somewhat Hitler...make up your mind.

Just so happens im rereading Islands in the Stream.
Magnifico!!
Two observations:
How many writers live up to our ideals?
Some people just can't handle limited punctuation.😂

Im sticking to my guns Harley.
Would expect nothing less sir, nonetheless, "never meet your heroes". I should do 'Islands'
