I caught this story and thought it was interesting.
About ten years ago my dad and I sighted what both of still believe was a wolf in this same general area. I have been amazed over the years we have had bear, moose, lots of elk, and of course mountain lions work there way through the state. A young collared male cat had traveled some 700 miles before being hit by a car in Kansas.
